This one feels so close to home... definitely one of my heroes.

The grit, meticulousness, relentlessness with which he approached basketball gave me an early blueprint for how to go after my aspirations in STEM.

Watching his interviews, playing as him with the Lakers on the NBA Live 2003 video game, seeing his moves off the court.. He was inadvertently a father figure to me. He lives on in me.
