This week’s #MenOfCarmelMonday is Justin Shaifer. Justin is a 2012 alum, and a rising star in STEM education and advocacy. Also known as, “Mr. Fascinate”, Shaifer is a LinkedIn Top Voice in Technology, and has hosted science TV shows with WGBH, Travel Channel and Al Roker Entertainment. Justin is also co-founder of STEM Success Summit, which is a large scale recruiting conference for diverse STEM students that has already secured sponsorships from Best Buy and General Motors. His goal is to inspire young people to “embrace their inner nerd despite their surroundings”.
