I spent my first month in LA humbly
I spent my first month in LA humbly. Surfing couches & booking 1 bedroom AirBnbs.
I came with 3 suitcases. Gave 50% of my stuff away & put the other 50% in storage.
During covid, I turned my NYC apt into a studio space, had my custom-built PC regularly churning out animated vids, & voice overs, learned about AI programming and pretty much focused inward.
My goal in LA is to focus outward. To execute the many ideas that percolated through my mind during covid. Time to become an extrovert again 😬
While I certainly am not the glitz & glam type, I've been discreetly planting seeds for the future, such as:
1) Establishing a consistent fitness regiment
2) Planting seeds for future collaborative projects
3) Pitching some BIG things & signing contracts 😉
4) Downloading LA's geography
5) Learning the ins and outs of this weird new social scene
Sometimes inner growth isn't outwardly obvious. Shoot, sometimes my growth isn't even obvious to me, and posts like these keep me self-aware.
This is my 4th time moving to a major new city. Think I'm getting the hang of this thing. 🚀
