6 years ago, I felt discouraged by my work not receiving enough traction.

I thought up a clever idea... upload a pic of myself with a science t-shirt to "change the face of science"

This photo went on to be viewed 21M times and downloaded over 141k times. Just one problem...

Because the photo was open-source, it was used all over the internet, to advertise all kinds of things... that I'll never be paid for.

Was it worth the weird article features to change the face of science?
