Had an absolute blast hosting the largest K-12 #science competition in the world!

At the 30th anniversary of Toshiba's Exploravision competition, I spoke with the winning students for dozens of national news outlets, learned about some incredible #STEM projects coming from K-12 students, and shared a few remarks to energize the next generation of STEM talent!

I even received a compliment on my tie from Bill Nye himself!

I shared with the students that effective #communication of science is just as important as the #research they performed. If you perform incredible research, but no one knows it exists, is that really helping society?
