I arrived at Miami's airport around 2am, went to bed at 3am, and woke up at 5am after 10x 10-12 hour workdays to deliver this #keynote to a packed auditorium!

I was TIRED TIRED, but I knew I had to finish with a BOOM!

I am still surprised by #student's reactions to this talk. They always come up after, many take pics and some even request autographs... FROM A #STEM GUY!

I had a total of 0 STEM role models near my age at this time. I find that simply existing in this space if you look a certain way can inspire so many people.
