In honor of President's Day, I thought I'd share a little presidential throwback.

These photos were taken when I became SGA President at Hampton University. I had my car, and was well on my way to law school. You couldn't tell me nothin! 🤣🤣🤣

Upon graduation, the real world humbled me quickly. I realized almost no one cared about what I did in college. I was a freshman all over again.

While skills like research, writing, public speaking and leadership were essential to post-college entrepreneurship; If I redid college today I'd focus on building things that will matter AFTER college: A brand, business or network.

Moral of the story: You're *always* a freshman. If you don't see room for growth, you're not looking hard enough.
