Attending my alma mater Hampton University 's Homecoming

Attending my alma mater Hampton University 's Homecoming this weekend reminded me of the power and significance of #HBCUs.

In addition to being a huge contributor to the black #STEM talent pipeline, HBCUs are places where every genre, flavor, etc. of blackness is represented.

Hampton showed me how to show up with confidence unapologetically, and to back that confidence up with real #skills. It let me know that there was no limit to where I could go, as long as I had vision.

Leaving Hampton, VA feeling well-fed and re-energized to finish the year strong!
